A 96-well plate format is used with 88 wells reserved for samples. Wells of the plate are coated with antibody.

The blood serum is placed into each well and incubated for 18 hours.

After plates are washed free of samples, an antibody-enzyme conjugate is added to the wells and incubated for 7 hours.

Plates are washed again and a substrate for the enzyme is added. A color will develop. Sample color will be more intense with more PSPB.

A plate reader measures the intensity of color and test results are observed.

The laboratory prepares a report and provides it to the veterinarian and/or the dairy manager. Reports are available by mail, fax, email, or telephone. BioPRYN® reveals the pregnancy results with 97% accuracy.
